Australopithecus

Australopithecus was a primitive species of ape which lived during the Silurians' rule over Earth, many hundreds of thousands of years prior to 1835. Tulok, a Silurian scientist, modified the Australopithecus, resulting in the evolution of homo sapiens or humans. (AUDIO: Bloodtide [+]Loading...["Bloodtide (audio story)"])

Australopithecus afarensis were hominids which lived in Africa around 3,000,000 BCE. They were one of the first primates to walk upright. Their brains were still comparatively small and undeveloped, but their upright gait freed their hands to hold weapons and tools, the latter of which would transform their descendants into the human race. Australopithecus was believed to have used primitive stone tools even at this early stage, like sharpened rocks for cutting meat and breaking bones.
