Fliis
The Fliss are a race of symbiotics, in their native form they are large green, largely shapeless creatures with limited mobility. They invade planets with multi-limbed inhabitants and bond with them using them as hosts to create a shared existence with greater mobility Wired into the brain the host is in a telepathic trance making separation from the Fliss clothing impossible. The control signal operates on a Wi-Fi frequency and by incorporating a visor into the fashion-wear, a visual link to the controlling body is created.
When an attempted invasion was made in London during the 21st century the Fliis adopted a black jacket and shades-look, carrying the ICE logo (Interconnected Clothing Experience). The Doctor thwarted the invasion by altering the pattern in the programming, setting himself as a new non-human template causing the Fliis to detach themselves from the human bodies.
