Boy (Invasion of Earth)
A young boy lived in London in the 1990s. He was a Doctor Who viewer.
He once fell asleep while watching the program and dreamt that he was walking through London pretending to fight Doctor Who monsters (including Dalek Troopers, Vogans and Monoids) with a toy gun. To his horror, real Autons started coming to life and chased him through the empty London of The Web of Fear and The Invasion, culminating in him coming face to face with a postbox which he saw as a Dalek. The shock of the Dalek threatening him with extermination woke him up and he found that he was indeed still behind the sofa in his living room. Josh Maguire's generic, unnamed "Boy" character also appears in various inserts throughout 30 Years in the TARDIS and More than 30 Years in the TARDIS (to which Invasion of Earth [+]Loading...["Invasion of Earth (TV story)"] served as a pre-credits sequence), "reacting" to clips from Classic Doctor Who that were used throughout the documentaries. Maguire also played a similar boy in Susan and the Daleks [+]Loading...["Susan and the Daleks (TV story)"].
