Dalekmania was the name given to the excitement created when the Daleks were first introduced to Doctor Who in 1963. Their appearance in The Daleks, originally intended to be their only one, generated greater interest in the series and merchandise which included toys, books, movies and many televised sequels.

Dalekmania was also the name of a documentary about the two theatrical films, Dr. Who and the Daleks & Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. as well as the name given to a calendar range that ran until 2009.
