Cross My Palm with Silver was an unproduced Torchwood television story written by James Moran. The story was intended as an episode in series 2, later replaced by Moran's Sleeper [+]Loading...["Sleeper (TV story)"]. The story would have followed a fake fortune teller, Beth, who was making her fortunes come true unknowingly through her telekinetic abilities. Several plot details were reused in Sleeper, and the fortune telling concept was abandoned. It was featured on "The Lost Episodes" article of TM 24.[1]

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • According to Moran, this story idea was the most "fleshed out" of the ones he pitched.[1]
  • Beth makes the Torchwood team shoot her dead halfway through the story. In Sleeper, this happens at the end. Moran stated that this original version took Beth out of the story way too soon.[1]
