Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell was a human scientist born on Earth. He was best known for his invention of the telephone. The very first phone call, made by Bell: "Watson, come here, I need you", bled through onto Sonny Hoskins and Rose Tyler's mobile phones in 1987. This was a consequence of Rose saving her father, Pete Tyler, from death, altering the course of time. (TV: Father's Day [+]Loading...["Father's Day (TV story)"])

When Emily Morris saw that Gemma talked through a mobile phone she said that she knew that Mister Bell's invention would catch on and that the future with a wireless telephone must be very exciting. (TV: Lost in Time [+]Loading...["Lost in Time (TV story)"])

The Fourth Doctor, upon learning from Morgan that all the phone lines were down, mentioned that he always told Alexander Bell that wires were unreliable. (TV: The Android Invasion [+]Loading...["The Android Invasion (TV story)"])
