73 Yards was the one-hundredth-and-eighty-third Target novelisation and the third BBC Books novelisation based upon Season 1 of Doctor Who, published on 8 August 2024 by Target Books and written by Scott Handcock.[1]

  • The date on which the Doctor and Ruby land in Wales is given as 9 November 2024.
  • When Ruby is locked out of her flat, Carla slides an envelope full of Ruby's old photographs under the door to her, before telling her to leave over the phone.
  • Ruby's death in the nursing home is established as taking place five years after her return to Glyngatwg, and that she was 86 years old.
