The natural sciences are divided into:
- Physical science, which includes physics, chemistry, geoscience and astronomy;
- Life science, an equally broad category, which includes biology, zoology, botany, mycology, genetics, anatomy, biochemistry, immunology and neuroscience.
It also includes natural history, which is multidisciplinary.
