Phineas and Ferb

A cartoon featured a platypus who wore a hat and went around chasing an evil scientist. The cartoon was known to both Xiantio and Abraytha Janus Colefia. (PROSE: A Visit from Everywhere [+]Loading...["A Visit from Everywhere (short story)"])

When the Tenth Doctor asked Donna Noble if she knew of Phineas Gage, she asked if he had a pet platypus. (PROSE: Legends of Camelot [+]Loading...["Legends of Camelot (novel)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Although unnamed in A Visit from Everywhere [+]Loading...["A Visit from Everywhere (short story)"], the series alluded to was presumably intended to be Phineas and Ferb.

The clear implication in the Legends of Camelot [+]Loading...["Legends of Camelot (novel)"] reference is that Donna is mistaking Phineas Gage for the former half of the show's titular duo, Phineas Flynn.

Connections[[edit] | [edit source]]

The series has a handful of cast members in common with the DWU, the most prominent being Thomas Sangster, who voiced the latter of the show's titular duo, Ferb Fletcher.

Olivia Olson also had a recurring role on the series as Vanessa Doofenshmirtz.

Other actors to have appeared throughout the show's run include Jane Carr, Kari Wahlgren, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Dominic Wood, Lenny Henry, Daniel Roche, John DiMaggio, David Mitchell, Gary Lineker, Helen McCrory, Travis Willingham, and Tara Strong.
