In 1739, Dick Turpin briefly escaped from the scene of his execution with a cyberblaster glove he had been given by a "god". The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday arrived in the area, having picked up a signal, and the Doctor stopped Turpin and took the glove away, letting him be taken back to the scene of his execution. On the gallows, Turpin saw the "god" and realized he had been betrayed, as his dying scream was captured in a bottle to be part of the entity's collection.
