The Fall and Rise of the Dalek Empire was a game in DWM 307 promoting Dalek Empire I, designed as a throwback to the Dalek annuals. It was accompanied by an in-universe text written by John Ainsworth which gave a history of the Daleks based on The Daleks.
Summary
The Anti-Dalek Force have created a "2D simulation" of the current Dalek invasion. Recruits to the Space Security Service are encouraged to try their aptitude by surviving the simulation.

- The 2400s Dalek invasion of the solar system is called the "first Dalek War" and the 27th century Dalek invasion is the "second Dalek War".
- In the first Dalek War, Skaro came to the Solar System from the next universe but one. Afterwards, it was piloted back to its original star system.
