The Daleks Activity Book
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
The Daleks Activity Book was, along with The Daleks Colouring Book, one of two Doctor Who-related activity books published by Children's Leisure Products in 1978. The license to publish both books was terminated due to poor quality artwork but Children's Leisure Products seemingly proceeded to release them regardless.[1][2] This wiki considers them to be officially unreleased.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- In March 1977, Children's Leisure Products co-founder Alan Fennell approached the BBC with proposals for a Doctor Who painting book, an activity book, and a poster magazine. The latter did not progress but licenses were granted for the activity and painting books. The cover paintings and line drawings were done by Tony Gibbons but the BBC Head of Serials Graeme MacDonald "strongly objected" to the quality of the artwork. The license was terminated on 1 July 1978 but Children's Leisure Products seemingly went on to release versions of the books in spite of this.[1]
