The Dangerous Book of Monsters was the second book in the The Doctor's OFFICIAL Guide series, published on 1 October 2015[1] by Penguin Group, written by Justin Richards and illustrated by Dan Green. The book was stylised as an in-universe guide written by the Twelfth Doctor.
An in-character prose advertisement by the Twelfth Doctor was printed in Doctor Who The Official Annual 2016, serving as a kind of prequel to the novel.
