Total event collapse

A Total Event Collapse is a time explosion, which causes the universe to totally collapse, Hence the name "Total Event Collapse." The Doctor seemed to have knowledge of a total event collapse. The only way to stop a Total event collapse was to try and reboot the Universe. Some things can survive a total event collapse before they are also erased from existance. By the way the Doctor yelled, "Total event collapse! Every sun will supernova, at every moment in history! THE WHOLE UNIVERSE will never have existed!", it seems the total event collapse happens by making every star go supernova, at every point in history.
