Bill Nighy

Bill Nighy (born 12th December 1949) had an uncredited role as Dr. Black in Vincent and the Doctor. This episode was written by Richard Curtis, with whom Nighy had worked several times before. He was also reportedly one of Russell T. Davies' choices to play the Tenth Doctor. Notable film appearances include The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Love Actually, The Boat that Rocked and the second and third installments of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He also starred in Shaun of the Dead with Doctor Who actors Simon Pegg and Penelope Wilton.
