Heat Death was the result of Entropy increasing in a universe. It destroyed planets and other stronomical objects in its path. Heat Death in N-space accounted for the destruction of the Traken Union. The Doctor prevented the outright destruction of N-space by channeling this entropy through a CVE. (DW: Logopolis)
