Volkswagen Beetle

Volkswagen Beetle was an Earth car manufactured in the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Doctor had a Volkswagen Beetle that fit into an alcove in the TARDIS, which he drove, and let Sam Jones drive, on numerous occasions. (EDA: Vampire Science, Longest Day, Seeing I) The Doctor traded it to a Faction Paradox cultist in 2002 for information, it was, supposedly, taken back in time and melted down to create the car, thereby creating a paradox. Mickey Smith drove a Volkswagen Beetle in 2005, but had replaced it with a Mini by 2006. (DW: Rose, The Parting of the Ways)

Sarah Jane used to drive a Volkswagen Beetle called Ethel, which was blown up (SJ Audio Series: Comeback) Ethel is fixed by the events of the The Sarah Jane Adventures as Sarah Jane gives it to Luke to go to college in.
