Mister Dread
Mister Dread was a member of the Men in Black.
Biography
Dread was part of a mission to stop Humans realising the truth about the Grey aliens. He tracked down the Doctor, Cassie and Jimmy, but was damaged by Night Eagle. He managed to rebuild himself and retrieve the ionic fusion bar, bringing it back to Dreamland, where he was apparently destroyed by the sonic screwdriver. (DW: Dreamland). Acording to Mr Dread by the 1970's the alliance of shades was disbanded and the magority of his kind were decomished as a result (just as the Doctor had fortold). Despite this the Alliance were unable to remove their Hyperdementional vault were they stored their confistacated alien equitment from Earth. In light of this Dread and two androids were re assigned to guard the vault indefinatly. As well as receaving physical and electrical upgrades they were reprogramed to souly guard the vault and not hunt alien activity has was their original desighn
In 2010, Dread and two other agents were located in St Jude's Hospital, where they defended a vault which contained all of the items the Alliance had gathered. When Androvax in the body of a human women entered the Hospital Dread and the others were awoken by the premiter alarms and chased him off forcing him to abbandon his host due to his weakned state and the fact Veil are unable to posses in-organic life. He and the other agents stopped Sarah Jane Smith after Androvax sent her and the others their to free his people. When he discovered that Sarah Jane had taken a clipping of Ocean Waters's abduction by aliens, he and the other agents attacked Ocean's house. (SJA: The Vault of Secrets)
Personality
Like most Men in Black Dread's personality is mostly cold. Dread claims that the Alliance programmed him and he others without emotion because they believed they would make the androids less efficiant in their duty's, though this lack of emotion contributed to most of them being deactivated by the 1970's. Despite this Dread has displayed a certain level of pride in himself claiming he was one of the Alliance's more sucsefull and efficiant models which possible contributed to his survival of the mass decomitioning. Even though he claims he has no sense of humor Dread appeared to have developed a dry sense of hummor. This is evident when Sarah jane damages his car and he is bothered by another driver who says he should find a new viechle; smirking Dread says he will take the man's car and rips the door of its hinges freigtening the man off.
Abilities
Mister Dread was able to mind wipe those who saw alien activity. This mind wipe, however, could also leave traces of Dread himself. As an android, he also had the ability to remove his hand and produce a blaster, which shot green lasers. Although vulnerable to the Doctor's sonic screwdriver in 1958, by 2010 he was immune to the effects of Sarah Jane Smith's sonic lipstick. (SJA: The Vault of Secrets)
