Mr. Fibuli was the Captain's assistant on Zanak. He feared the Captain and so complied with his orders to the best of his ablity. When the Doctor prevented Zanak from materializing around Earth, the bridge's controls exploded and Fibuli was killed. The Captain vowed to avenge him declaring that he was a good man.
