Ranquin was the leader of the Swampies on Delta III. He purchased guns from Rohm-Dutt for an attack on the methane refinery. He ordered the sacrifice of Rohm-Dutt, the Doctor and Romana to please Kroll. He lead a raid on the refinery and tied to contact Kroll who was also attacking, Kroll dragged him away through a pipe and killed him.
