The Manse was a manor owned by Nathaniel Porter. It was mostly one story high with two storeys as the side, this floor contained Nathaniel's personal rooms. Nathaniel referred to parts of the manor as wings. After his wife's death he took on her friend, Oliver Marks, as a permanent guest. He also took the Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams in as guests.
