Polycarbide

Polycarbide was a component of the Dalekanium metal used in the construction of Dalek casings. Bonded polycarbide was what made Dalekanium.

The Doctor modified some energy blasters to pierce polycarbide, and even temporarily disable the Daleks' weapons. (DW: Doomsday)
