Edward Wright

Dr. Edward Wright was the father of Polly. He had one older brother, Charles, and a younger brother, Randolph. He got married to a socialite, Miss Bettington-Smith, in about August 1939. Soon, they gave birth to a boy. In 1943, they added Polly to their family, at which time they were said to be living in a "big, old house in the country." As of 1944, Edward's mother was still alive. At some point after Polly's birth, Edward and his wife had three more sons. Polly described both he and his wife as parents whom she took for granted, but ones that were always there for her. As of late 2010, Edward has never been portrayed in performed Doctor Who, only mentioned in passing.
