Talk:The Beast (The Impossible Planet)
Make up your minds! Are they a "he" or "it"? It says both. --81.1.103.42 04:37, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

One of the Old Ones?
The great power, giant body, and origins in the Pre-Universe ... should the Beast and Abaddon be added to the list of potential Old Ones?--TheOmnius 18:14, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- I suppose there's a bit of a connection. I guess you could add it to the list possible Old Ones. -<Azes13 21:16, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Aliases
For the record, in the real world, the term Abbadon is incorrectly attributed as referring to Satan. ProtoKun7 19:25, January 8, 2010 (UTC)
The Colbert Report
Should it be mentioned Stephen Colbert used an image of the Beast to represent Satan on the 21st of September 2010 on his show?173.79.241.149
Probably not, he didn't mention Doctor Who at all. He just needed a picture to represent Satan, and the Beast was probably the best one he could find.Icecreamdif 21:43, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
A Great Old One
You can obviously tell the Beast was meant to be a Great Old One - he had lots of powers, he was big, his mind could leave his body etc. If he returns, the BBC have got to explain where he came from and who he really is. I'm sure they will.
