That's one hell of a run-on sentence there. And that's not a "biography". Need to have the section taken away and the main sentence of the paragraph broken up so that clarity can bubble forth.

The Eleventh Doctor detected the worm's presence and managed to somehow lure Danny and his dad to a nearby hospital in Leeds.
