Cho-Je

Cho Je was K'anpo Rimpoche's future incarnation. He was manifested into physical form in K'anpo's present time much like The Watcher. When K'anpo was struck down by the Eight Legs human hosts, Cho Je faded into nothingness as the Time Lord guru regenerated into his new form, that of Cho Je. Later, after the Doctor had been exposed to lethal radiation, Cho Je/K'anpo Rimpoche donated some of his own energy to "give the process a little push" so that his former student was able to regenerate into his fourth incarnation.
