  • Holiday Specials were tradition bumper sized comics/magazines from the publishers of regular titles. Produced twice yearly they were generally released around Summer and Autumn time in time for the school summer holidays and the Christmas holiday period.
  • This eighth Special was a merchandise themed issue
  • Once again published as an irregular, large sized issue, printed in May 1984 and had a cover price of 95p (UK).
  • The cover used a publicity shot taken of the Sixth Doctor
