The Defence Secretary lead the United Kingdom military. He was involved in Cabinet discussions over what to do with the 456's ransom (TW: Children of Earth: Day Three, Day Four) and eventually gave out the order to kidnap children to the army. (TW: Children of Earth: Day Five)
