Charlie Brown was an iconic American newspaper comic strip character who starred in Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz, which ran from 1950 to 2000. The character (and others from Peanuts) were also featured in a long-running series of animated television productions and films during the second half of the 20th century.
Donna Noble referenced the character when she began spouting gibberish as her mind overloaded during her brief transformation into a half-Time Lord. (DW: Journey's End)
