Awesome!

Man, I am completely obsessed with Doctor Who and I stumbled across this wiki ages ago when randomly googling 'Doctor Who Wiki' and I always came here looking at it but I never thought I'd end up working here! Flipping Heck, man, this is awesome! 90.215.45.50 07:54, January 23, 2011 (UTC)

Age limit

Yes there is. According to Wikia.com's Terms of Use (membership sub-section) you must be 13 years or older to edit. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:46, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Please read the link above (I've fixed it, sorry about that).
What follows is how I have read the terms of use and is not necessarily the legal reading of the Terms of Use; I think you may continue to use this site as an unregistered user, it is only when you register to use Wikia's service (or becoming a registered user) that you must be 13 years or older. Thanks. --Tangerineduel / talk 12:41, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

Removing content

Hi, please don't remove content from pages, this is usually interpreted as vandalism and action in response to it. In the case of the Delete template page, it exists as a redirect because many users assume to use that link rather than the Proposed deletion we use on this wiki. Thanks. --Tangerineduel / talk 16:34, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

Reply to emnity

As i have placed on Tangerineduels page:

The page wasnt sourced (ie. there was no story stated where it came from) and the info, to the best of my knowledge was false anyway. Also i cannot delete pages as i am not an admin.

It could have been Tangerinedual who deleted the page as he is the most active admin on the wikia. Revanvolatrelundar 19:16, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

I edited the page to place a deletion template on the page, which if you read the last message i explained my reasons for doing so. Now that was an EDIT, which is why it showed up on the page, now when an admin deletes the page it is a deletion and NOT an edit, therefore it doesnt show up on the edit section of the page.

Im not sure if unregistered contributers are able to but it should be in the deletion log if you look there. Revanvolatrelundar 19:37, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

It was the admin Doug86 who deleted the page: http://tardis.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=delete&user=&page=&year=&month=-1

I believe you need to be a logged in user to do so. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:31, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

Impersonation

Fair enough. Case closed, as far as I'm concerned. One thing though: it's bad form to remove comments on any talk or forum page — even your own. Hope to see you around, editing some more. :) CzechOut | 15:51, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

Other users

I'm not sure what you're asking with regards to the user. There are several (hundreds likely thousands) of users who have signed up but not actually edited. The Welcome tag gets added automatically when a user makes an edit, if not their talk page remains blank. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:03, January 22, 2011 (UTC)

As I said, the information was already in the article. There was no need for it to be added twice. It was under the heading Sixth version. Also, please leave all message on a talk page at the bottom of the page, not placed randomly between two different messages. Mini-mitch 18:14, January 22, 2010 (UTC) -

It's not a heading as such, it's a emboldened heading under the heading 'Main Control Room'. (If that make sense). But just so you know, if information you added had been added earlier, and was removed, so there is no point in try to add it again, it will be removed. Mini-mitch 20:28, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/The_Doctor%27s_TARDIS#Control_room then scroll down to sixth version. Revanvolatrelundar 20:27, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Other IPs

The IP address is unique to the computer so it would depend which computer you use to access this wiki. So it is not "you" but rather the computer you're using to access the internet to edit this wiki. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:41, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

Admins

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is it depends on what you mean. There isn't any hierarchical structure for the admins, all the admins (Tardis:Administrators) are all on equal footing. If you have a question/issue/problem that can't be answered of sorted out by admins on this wiki you can contact Wikia staff using the Special:Contact page, this will allow you to contact the Wikia.com staff who have extra powers as staff that administrators do not have. --Tangerineduel / talk 13:27, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

Archived talk page

It's been archived, it was getting too long with questions and other things that I'd dealt with. There's a link to it at the top, in the box that says "Archives". --Tangerineduel / talk 14:57, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Users

Hi, those users were vandalising the wikia as unregistered contributors and I was the one reverting their edits. They then made accounts to try and "fight back" at me, but as you can see, they have been infinitely blocked for their actions. --Revan\Talk 13:56, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

Admins and other things

I don't recall being annoyed at the deletion of the Temporal anomaly page as you suggest on Doug86's talk page, perplexed I think would be the most I would be regarding being contacted about it (very few things really annoy me and the things that do revolve around apostrophe use).

Doug86's talk page isn't something I would generally comment on, but given he's been an editor on this wiki since 2008 and I don't think he's cleared his talk page out since he joined, so the amount of comments on his talk page is proportional.

Skimming through his talk page I can't see anything that hasn't been attended to, not all of his replies would be on his talk page, some would be on other users' talk pages (which may have been cleared out or in archives).

Just because an admin does not reply to every single talk comment does not make them a bad admin, I have also been accused of this in the past because I did not reply with enough immediacy as the person who left the talk comment wished (due to a variety of reasons at the time).

Additionally, DO NOT add to or alter another user's talk comments, I have undone your addition to Azes13's talk comment, this is against out Tardis:Vandalism policy, any action like this again will result in you being blocked from editing on this wiki. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:15, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

This is the edit comparison between the previous edit and your edit to Azes13's talk page: http://tardis.wikia.com/index.php?title=User_talk%3AAzes13&action=historysubmit&diff=514021&oldid=475504 You added in Doug86's name into a talk comment I left some time ago.
I found this edit by looking through your Special:Contributions/90.215.45.50 page, which lists all the edits you have made. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:24, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
