"Junk TARDIS" is a title based upon conjecture.

The Junk TARDIS was a makeshift TARDIS created by the Doctor and Idris (the embodied matrix of his TARDIS) to reach his own TARDIS which had been hijacked.

They constructed out of 100 different models from the Bubble universe's junkyard, a task which Idris commented was "impossible". The components were from TARDIS' that had traveled through the Bubble universe rift and been consumed and destroyed by House (with their owner's likewise being killed by House). The TARDIS consisted solely of a console (with time rotor) and three walls. It was lacking a proper shell which the Doctor commended would be very dangerous to travel without.

It was highly unstable in flight but once the Doctor's TARDIS' shields were down, it managed to materialise in an archived control room. It materialised in the same spot Nephew was in, killing him. The Junk TARDIS was lost when the archived control room was deleted by House, with only living beings being saved from the deleted rooms. (DW: The Doctor's Wife)

The console was designed by Susannah Leah for a Blue Peter competition.
