Howling:Is that what a Tardis really looks like

I was wondering about the Lodger that was a TARDIS being built by who or what remains to be seen I am amazed the doctor wasn't more surprised but anyway at the end everything to do with the TARDIS that was being built vanished and before it vanished we saw a big massive spaceship. Is that what a Tardis looks like really behind all the chamelion circuit stuff. Obviously the Tardis just changes shape on the outside to blend into its souroundings but logically it must have an original shape on the outside because its disguise as a house was torn down, was that it. That is what the TARDIS has really been like under the police box all these years, pretty cool idea but if I am wrong correct me. Winehousefan, 09:51, June 13, 2010 [UTC

To me the outside of that time ship kind of reminded me of the Jaggeroth space ship from City of Death which coincidently also tried to travel through time. What a TARDIS really looks like is shown in The Doctor Who: The Visual Dictionary by DK books. --Vitas 08:59, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
The War Games shows multiple TARDIS. It's rectangular in shape.
The ship in the Lodger did look similar in style to the Jaggeroth ship. I did notice that the top of that ship is spinning though.V00D00M0NKY 09:12, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
The EDAs corroborated that, with the TARDIS' "default" appearance sans chameleon circuit being described as a plain white rectangular box. Rob T Firefly 09:25, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
