summaries copied from the Doctor Who Guide
While working on The Moon I realized that a number of story sypnoses by the TARDIS Wiki user "Thegreathealer" have gotten cut-and-pasted verbatim from the Doctor Who Guide site run by (http://www.drwhoguide.com) run by Dominique Boies. I then wrote her to ask if she knew about this. It turned out that she didn't know and doesn't approve of content from her site appearing here.
Below you see a list of summaries provided by Thegreathealer which (I guess, without checking them one-by-one) come from the Doctor Who Guide.

- A portion of the help section will (soon) be written to include plagiarism and all manner of things (I think it's noted somewhere, but I'll do a re-write to make it more overt).
- As to thegreathealer's efforts (and any others that you come across), my suggestion is to remove/rollback/undo/revert the material (as we are trying to create our own site) and if there isn't add an external link to the drwhoguide (most TV, novel and audio drama pages do already). I've begun some rollbacks on the work they've done and put a note in their talk page. --Tangerineduel 16:22, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- I've taken this action (the rollbacks) especially because of your contacting the site's owner and her disapproval of these actions. --Tangerineduel 16:31, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- I've written up Tardis:Plagiarism, it's a little sparse for now but says the basics. --Tangerineduel 07:05, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Episode sypnosis
Also a number of episode synopsis have been copied from dvd sites e.g The Hand of Fear copied from Play.com--Skittles the hog 18:43, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- actually I don't think that presents a problem. I did a Google search and it seems like Play.com just used a standard blurb provided by the BBC to describe that story, a somewhat different thing than stealing another fan's hard work. Stardizzy? 19:22, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Oh...thanks for looking into it --Skittles the hog 10:55, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
