Forum:Complete rebuilding of the episode pages
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
Hello, all. I've come over from Wikipedia (on a different username), and I decided to set up an account. Why? Because I thought this free Doctor Who reference site looked slightly lacking and unprofessional. So, what I've done is I've completely cleaned up An Unearthly Child, and am using it as an example of what this project can do.
I have not added much more information, I have just shifted stuff around and added proper headings, and it is looking so much better.
If this could be done on all the story pages, this project would, if I can say so myself, look amazing. So, what about it?

- Hmmm, nobody else seems to have replied so I'll add my thoughts, even though I'm still pretty new here too. I also came here because I thought the site could be better, I hate the general look of this place but so far I've been conforming to the templates, trying to get as many episodes pages up to scratch as possible. The main problem is that we need more active members and we need to discuss ideas more.
- Anyway, I really like your new article on An Unearthly Child. The section breakdowns are much more useful, though I had preferred the ratings to be listed like they were before instead of in a paragraph. Any notes on the ratings could be outlined below the list. I also don't like the DVD/VHS section, it looks a bit messy with too many tables and headings in the middle of the page. I think DVD info should be on a separate article (although only I seem to think so, I should say). Otherwise, it's much improved. I'm not in charge though, so I can't say we'll adopt this template. Hopefully someone else will reply soon.

- I added my thoughts on the Talk:An Unearthly Child as there was a bit of a double post on the matter in question. However on the DVD/VHS front I am being swayed (I used to be a staunch supporter of it all in one place) but The Librarian's work thus far with the novelisations has convinced me otherwise, and with all the information the DVD/VHS's bring it may be worth it to have separate sections. --Tangerineduel 13:24, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
