Novelisation

  • This novelisation is based on the original television serial (DW): The Keeper of Traken which was shown from 31st January 1981 and written by Johnny Byrne
  • The cover and information shown on the right is for the original Target novel and featured the artwork of Andrew Skilleter. (See below for information on other UK and international editions which published with a different cover).
  • The original cover art has the distinction of being one of the first to showcase a companion without the Doctor, in this case Nyssa.
