Davros Connections (documentary)

Davros Connections was a documentary which covered, and discussed Davros' life throughout both the televised stories and the audio plays. It also featured excerpts from televised stories and audio plays. Using the audio plays, CGI scenes were also created for the documentary. The documentary was first avaliable in the The Complete Davros Collection and the re-release special edition DVD of DW: Remembrance of the Daleks. It was narrated by Davros actor Terry Molloy.

Interviews

Writers and actors dicussed the life, motives and actions of Davros throughout the televised stories and audio plays. The interviewee's were also asked to speculate about his death, some of the answers provided, had references to events that occured in the television stories. It featured I, Davros writer Gary Hopkins, Big Finish Productions producer/director Gary Russell, archival interview with Michael Wisher who first played Davros. Peter Miles who played Nyder, director Ken Grieve, David Gooderson who was the second actor to play Davros. Script editor Eric Saward, Terry Molloy, who was the third actor to play Davros, and writers Joseph Lidster and Ben Aaronovitch.

CGI

The CGI portions of the documentries, were used to highlight events from Davros' life such as the first successful creation of a Dalek. The scenes were adapted from an I, Davros episode and Davros (audio story).

Excerpts

The documentary used excerpts from both the televised stories and audio plays to highlight events/scenarios that were discussed by the interviewees. Below are the televised stories and audio plays used.
