Vulgle

Vulgle was a large species of bird, a cross between a Vulture and a Eagle.
A Vulgle was kept in a zoo on Earth in the 22nd century. When the Doctor was surrounded by escaped lions at the zoo while tackling a Dalek incursion, he managed to escape on the back of the Vulgle. The Dalek's transport of the Krikoosh by containment field slowed its escape and the Doctor was able to follow to a building guarded by Daleks. The Doctor got off the Vulgle and rescued the Krikoosh.
