The figure identified by credits as "Charles" in The Impossible Astronaut cannot be said to be Charles II of England, based solely on that episode. There's just not enough information in the episode or credits to allow it. All instances of such assertions have been removed from this article. Please especially do not return a picture of the character of "Charles" to this article until and unless the character should return to a DW episode and be clearly identified as Charles II of England.
