Howling:Karen as melody
Is it just me or does anyone think that since it was rumored that Rory and Amy won't be in the second half of series 6 that karen may actually play a version of melody? Cory Jaynes 22:17, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
What do you think, Cory? Boblipton 22:37, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
I think that it may be possible Cory Jaynes 23:49, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
both characters will be in the second half, as you can tell by the trailer. rory punches hitler in the face and amy fights off some robots with a couple of swords among other things. Imamadmad 06:08, August 2, 2011 (UTC)
The problem with that assumption is that if that's Karen Gilian playing a young Melody Pond, then that's Melody fighting the robots, and not Amy. While I think this is another of the ridiculous rumors that sweeps through the place now and again, there's no saying who that shows. I expect people to be going on about it being the Rani Real Soon Now. River, after all, is a time traveler and can regenerate. There's nothing to stop her from appearing in as many bodies in a single show as a funhouse mirror. Guessing what those pictures mean is a mug's game. I ry to enjoy their beauty.Boblipton 10:23, August 2, 2011 (UTC)
With so many timey-wimey episodes recently, I wouldn't be surprised if Melody Pond regenerated into Amelia Pond, who later becomes The Doctor's companion, will get killed at some point and regenerate into River Song, whom later dies in the Library. Moffat could easily do that if he wanted to.

You can set it up any way you want. After all, the Doctor might commit suicide because he can't save Melody and regenerate into River Song with a fugue amnesia who looks just like Amy. Everyone in the Whoniverse may be the Doctor. You can set things up that way if you want to and no picture can either confirm or deny that. Me, I stick with Occam's razor and if it looks like Karen Gilian, it's Amy until proven otherwise.Boblipton 22:14, August 4, 2011 (UTC)
Ah, the Occam's Razor, which states that the simplist explanation is often the truest.
