This unnamed planet was colonised by humans before the 44th century. The Eleventh Doctor visited the planet when a ship containing his companions, Amy Pond and Rory Williams, began to plummet through its atmosphere. The Doctor visited Sardicktown and convinced Kazran Sardick to allow the ship to land. (DW: A Christmas Carol)
Behind the scenes
- The scenery, architecture and fashion of Sardickton bears a striking resemblance to Victorian Britian. From the point of view of the Doctor Who universe, why this occurs is unknown. From a real-world point of view, the resemblance is due to the relevance of (DW: A Christmas Carol) being based on the Charles Dickens story: A Christmas Carol.
