Sardicktown

Sardicktown was a city on a human colony planet near to the Horsehead Nebula and was ruled over by the Sardick family in the 44th century. At night, fog was prevalent throughout the town. This fog had unusual properties that allowed certain species of fish to swim through it. Since this included a shark-like species, Elliot Sardick created a machine that could control the clouds and fog to keep the fish away when people were on the streets. There were small pools of permanent fog used by the Sardicks to keep people cryogenically frozen.

There was a day when the cloud bank fell and fish attacked a school. Nobody was seriously harmed. The Doctor built several snowmen throughout Sardicktown. (DW: A Christmas Carol)

behind the scenes

• The architecture of this town seems to bear a strong resemblance to Victorian Britian. Why this occurs from the perspective of the 'Doctor Who Universe' is unknown. However from a real world point of view, such an occurence is because the storyline of (DW: A Christmas Carol), is widely based on the Charles Dickens novel: A Christmas Carol.
