Galacton

Galacton was the third planet in a star system with a red-sun. Densely forested the planet attracted the attention of the Daleks seeking to plunder the natural resources of the Universe to fuel the expansion of their Empire in days before the Great Time War. The core of the planet was drilled into to release the molten rock which was energised by a Dalek Squadron Leader trapped down one of the bore hole as a suitable energy source for the Dalek fleet. The planet was ripped apart and not much is known about the red eyed creatures seemingly composed of the very ground itself, who offered up a formidable resistance to the Dalek might at one point forcing a Dalek evacuation.
