Anjli Mohindra plays Rani Chandra in The Sarah Jane Adventures. Although the character is fifteen, Mohindra was actually nineteen when she took the role. Rani is the actress' first ongoing TV role, after one-off appearances in shows such as Coronation Street. She also appeared in a 2009 episode of Law & Order: UK which stars Freema Agyeman. In the summer of 2011 she made several appearances in the adult-oriented series Beaver Falls.
