Anjli Mohindra plays Rani Chandra in The Sarah Jane Adventures. Although the character is fifteen, Mohindra was actually nineteen when she took the role. Rani is the actress' first ongoing TV role, after one-off appearances in shows such as Coronation Street. She also appeared in a 2009 episode of Law & Order: UK which stars Freema Agyeman. In the summer of 2011 she made several appearances in the adult-oriented series Beaver Falls. It has also been announced that she will appear in the Big Finish Productions audio drama BFBS: Brand Management, an episode of the Bernice Summerfield box set Road Trip scheduled for release in February 2012.[1]
