Land Rovers were a particular type of motor vehicle used by many humans. UNIT used them in many operations as one of their main methods of travel.
The Doctor utilised one from UNIT in order to track a Skarasen whilst in Scotland. (DW: Terror of the Zygons)
Whilst on Earth in 2009 the Doctor whilst assisting UNIT into their investigations into ATMOS was driven around in a vehicle that resembled a Land Rover, but was called by Colonel Mace a 'jeep' . This vehicle like all government vehicles at the time had ATMOS installed. (DW: The Poison Sky)
