Thosis was a moon onto which a spaceship crashed, leading it to be known as the "Moon of Lost Hope". The moon had a breathable atmosphere for humans. The surface had a covering of an aggressive form of mud that sought out and consumed anything that was non-organic by extending tentacle-like threads up into the air. (DWA: The Moon of Lost Hope)
