My name is Sarah and I live in London, England. I've been a fan of Doctor Who since it's reinvention in 2005, however, I was always aware of Doctor Who growing up as a kid. I was a child of the 80's and my most distinct memories of the show are the theme tune; the TARDIS and the fact that the Doctor travelled with a lot of women! Oh and of course, the Daleks--which I was genuinely afraid of! That creepy robotic voice... it just freaked me out as a kid! Now I do sort of laugh at how much of an idiot I was... I mean comon, they wiggle when they talk! :P

I'm a hopeless romantic, it has to be said, so my favourite companion is easily Rose Tyler. Which might be a surprise to anyone finding themselves reading this because of my incessant deletion of crappy sappy interpretations of the Doctor's relationship with Rose. I think fans need to remember to stick to the facts, those alone support the romantic aspects of the Doctor and Rose's relationship, we don't need these overzealous fans writing fanfics in wiki articles to get their point across! Makes us all look like hormone overdosing 14 year olds!

My favourite Dctor is easily the 10th. David Tennant does a wonderful job, (despite some rocky character development in series 2 and 4) and it's so much fun to have an actor as fond of the show as the fans are, playing the title role. That rarely happens, so it's a real treat to see he is such an avid fan himself.
