The Squire of Crampton was a daily BBC TV drama (which the Doctor claimed was "dreadful") starring Franklin Hughes. While filming a scene on location near Puddlesfield, the cast and crew of the show were transformed into plastic by Professor Midas's ray machine. (TVC: The Celluloid Midas)
