From the real world

Please note that all pages filed into one of the "...from the real world" categories — like Mini — must have a {{wikipediainfo}} tag.

Renaming pages

If your going to rename a page, put a notice on the discusion page.Retsinif talk to me 17:21, November 14, 2011 (UTC)

Please note that the above is not the policy of this wiki. It is a good idea in some cases, particularly where there's an obvious cause for debate about a name, but it's certainly not required that, on each and every occasion one moves a page, one starts a discussion about it. Some moves are completely non-controversial, such as when the name is misspelled or obviously in violation of Tardis:Disambiguation policy.
I don't know what move the above user is talking about. He may have been quie correct in suggesting that, for that particular move, a discussion was necessary. But it's not right to say that discussions must precede every move.

Planets

Hi, please don't add Category:Planets to any article that has a category which is already a sub-category of the Category:Planets category. As they're a sub-category of planets, it means they're already in that category. So to take the case of Ribos, it already has Category:Planets visited by the Fourth Doctor, which is a sub-category of Category:Planets visited by the Doctor, which itself is a category of Category:Planets. This case is incidentally the same for Category:Individuals and Category:Humans, anything in subcategories of those categories does not need Cat:Individuals or Cat:Humans adding to the articles, and Cat:Species. --Tangerineduel / talk 16:33, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
