Hutchinson (Human Nature)

Hutchinson was a school bully in 1913 and best friend of Jeremy Baines. He frequently tormented Tim Latimer, usually by forcing the younger student to do his homework for him, or made racist remarks to Martha Jones, who was working as a maid at his school. He was particularly quick to call Tim a coward during military drills and the real-life conflict with the scarecrows. He and Tim joined the army in World War I. Tim eventually passed Hutchinson in rank and saved his life on the field of battle. Because the Tenth Doctor's fob watch had afforded Tim a glimpse into his own future, he knew the precise moment he needed to get Hutchinson and himself out of the way of an enemy artillery round.
